Bill Boettger Bursary Tournament

The Bursary Tournament is a tournament that is open to all YBC 5 Pin members (male and female) who have completed their last year of eligibility in the YBC Senior Division (not 19 years of age at December 31st, 2007). Entrants can compete on a Scratch basis or on a Pins-Over-Average (POA) basis. Each

competitor will bowl eight (8) games to determine the 2008 YBC/MBAO Bursary Winners in each of four categories (Scratch and Pins-Over-Average, Male and Female). The prize is a one-year entry into the Master Bowlers’ Association of Ontario (MBAO) as an affiliated Teaching Master.

Competitors MUST be attired in an YBC identified bowling shirt *. Hats, Caps or any other type of headgear, unless required for medical or religious reasons, will not be allowed.

* A YBC identified bowling shirt shall be any garment, regardless of style, make, fabric or colour that covers the upper portion of the body, providing one of the following graphics is screened or embroidered on the back, the front or the sleeve of the shirt and providing it is issued and /or approved by the bowling centre: THE OFFICIAL YBC LOGO — OR — THE NAME OF THE BOWLING CENTRE — OR — THE NAME and/or LETTER (NUMBER) OF THE ZONE.

As well, one must wear black dress slacks/pants. Denim, track pants, corduroy, ruggers, cotton knit or harem type pants are not allowed. Ladies may wear black skirts/skorts.
